This is my Grandmas contact book. Everyone she met she kept their address and contact details in this, it was very important to her to keep in touch with all her friends, and each person would resemble a different memory.

This is my grandma's national insurance stamp card, this would bring back memories of when she worked as a dressmaker.

This is my grandparent's marriage certificate, this would bring back one of the most important memory my grandma has ever experienced.  This is when she married the love of her life and stayed together till death. this would be a memory of their whole lives together, through highs and lows.

This was a little ornament our family friend Ron bought my grandparents when they had to give up horses as they were getting too old, but is a great little memory of when they had them.

This is money my grandma brought back and kept from when she lived in Cypus. She lived there for about three and a half years so this would bring back alot of memories, like what happened ther, where they lived , what they purchased there.

This is my grandmas driving licence. She was always thought of as one of the best drivers in the family, and my grandad didn't like to drive so she would be the one whole drove everywhere. All the memories of road trips and exploring would come from this.

A few years ago it was my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary, it was a beautiful day, a great achievement and hey even received a letter of the queen, it was a big celebration hard to forget.

This is a receipt for newspapers she would have delivered to our house when she lived with me, she used to love reading the paper in the morning with a cup of tea.

This is a postcard addressed 'Forget me not Nellie', Nellie was my grandma's mother. I find this a very important item, not only is it a memory of her mother but it asks not to forget her, whereas dementia will make her forget eventually.

This is a birds-eye picture of there last house. This was their favourite home, there were for fields outback where they kept all their horses and raised their children, this house is full of a lot of memories, a lot of firsts and lasts.

I found this map of Nazareth in my grandma's belongings, its the only map I found so this must be a place she wanted to remember an enjoyable holiday.

This is my grandparent's wedding album, a visual representation of such a wonderful day, a memory of how lovely everyone looked, who attended, and her wedding dress which is the one and only day to wear it.

This is as 2x2 inch film slide I found, on it, is a picture of the family when they lived in Cyprus, in front of their house all sunbathing. It's a one of a kind photo which could never be taken again

I found this wedding invitation from a close family friend asking them to attend. My grandma used to keep all her invitations as a reminder of fun times with friends and enjoy their special days with them.

I found this rolled up in a red tube, from the Chester Health Authority. It's a formal certificate to show appreciation to my grandma for her long faithful service. Such a lovely form of accomplishment to remember all those years of work.

This is the order of service for my parent's wedding and she always takes little keepsakes like this to remember them and this would have made my grandma so happy seeing her son get married.

This is a little picture frame she got from a antiques shop, filled with an image of herself and my grandad. She used to keep this next to her bed, when looking at this it would make her happy.

My Grandma was a very sentimental person and liked to keep items which would be a reminder of how happy she felt during certain times. Here are school report cards of her son and daughter, that year they both got incredibly good grades and must have made her feel so proud.

When my Grandad died we put a little message in the paper. this was a time of complete sadness for my grandma and our entire family. She lost the love of her life, her soulmate, that must have been an incredibly sad time.

This was a photo of my Grandmas 60th birthday when we bought her a new bicycle, and my grandad was trying to reteach her to ride it. My father said it was a fun-filled day which he believed brought so much joy to my grandma.

In this photo is three horses Buster, Dinky and Fancy and on them is my auntie, my first cousin once removed, and my father. These were the first horses my grandma and grandad bought for them. This must have to be such an exciting time and the start of their training.

My Grandma had a younger brother, and unfortunately, he died at the age of 44 on the operating table and she never got over his death it was very sudden and heartbreaking.

This is the letter from the queen given to my grandparents on their 60th wedding anniversary. My grandma was so happy when she received this and spent the whole day showing everyone who came in, showing it off like a medal.

This is full of orders of service from all the funerals my grandma ever went to, I think keeping these would be like keeping a link to each individual person. An envelope full of sadness

When my grandma moved into my house after my grandad dies she wanted a picture of him by her bed to show how much she did and always will love him. She found this frame on holiday and loved it. this picture always stayed by her bed.

In the bookcase, I have a shelf dedicated to these photos and I've put them all together because they have the same thing in common. Each picture has a dress or suit in it created by my grandma. she was an extremely talented woman and making these clothes was something which really made her happy.
