I created this short video as an experiment. I wanted to create something which showed memories fading in and out of an individuals mind who were suffering from dementia. The process on one-minute remembering and the next completely forgetting. In this short video, I created an image of my grandparents, half old and half young, and overlapped it with a letter from Mona (grandmas cousin). I wanted to pulse in the letter showing the points where my grandma would remember Mona and then switch to slowly forgetting her. The image of my grandparents don't fade at the beginning, the only time they fade is right at the end of the video. This shows that it is the end, as the last thing my grandma would have forgotten was herself and the love.
