FINAL BOOKCASES
FINAL BOOKCASES
These are the finished bookcases filled with the objects I wanted! I originally wanted both of the bookcases to be the same size, and I had a wooden bookcase better suited but due to COVID-19 that bookcase became unavailable. This bookcase which I had as a backup still gives that same effect, I actually think his one works better, due to the high difference it shows the wooden one is the superior bookcase, and the cardboard one seems like its not important when it is. until I try this with the other wooden bookcase I wouldn't be able to know which one would be best suited but for this pandemic, this one works perfectly fine.
Emotion/Wooden Bookcase
These are all the individual shelves on the wooden bookcase, each of these links to a different emotion I tried to lay them out to match up similar emotions on the same shelf. Report cards on one shelf, Dressmaking on another, Death and grief and another and so on. There is a different page fully explaining each item and what they link to.
Memory/Cardboard Bookcase
And these are all the individual shelves on the cardboard bookcase, for this, it's more difficult to match these up as there's not always a clear link between two memories like there is with emotions. some on this bookcase are photographs because they're more likely to trigger a memory as it a visual capture of it. For example, there are the wedding photo albums, the 60th wedding anniversary album, then there's writing and documents like maps and certificates bring back memories of that specific time and how it came to be.
